Wasatch Masonry is a solid, family owned and operated business run by Lonnie Fallis and his sons Tyler and Brett, with a combined 70 years of experience in the industry. Continually growing at a sensible rate, the business employs an average of 20 employees, and is capable of increasing work force when work load requires―having employed as many as 60 at one point.


The main principles guiding our business are hard work and teamwork. We value the relationships we have with contractors, making us effective team players. TYLER FALLIS

Director of Operations / Project Manager

Tyler has 15 years of experience in masonry. Starting as a hod tender for his father he honed a skill and gained a passion he couldn’t shake. After graduating from the University Of Utah he continued in the masonry industry. Excited to grow the business started by his father, he joined Wasatch Masonry. Tyler began estimating and learning the rigors of commercial masonry. After 5 years estimating Tyler now oversees all daily operations as Project Manager. He has completed numerous projects on time and to the satisfaction of the owner and contractor. His communication skills, hands-on approach, and attention to safety, quality and speed contribute to the success of each job.

BRETT FALLIS

Estimator / Project Manager

Brett has been in the masonry industry for 17 years, estimating full-time for the past three years. Brett’s experience as a hod tender and forklift operator helped him learn the importance of details and prior planning, making him a successful job site superintendent. His proficiency with prior planning also attribute to his skills as an estimator. Brett uses Tradesmen Estimating Software to produce accurate bids and plans for crews to meet the construction schedule. Brett’s proposals are accurate and inclusive. His field experience and attention to detail enable him to foresee potential conflicts and construction sequence. Brett prepares material lists and orders to ensure that the material is available to meet the construction schedule, resulting in timely completion and overall project success.


LONNIE FALLIS

Safety and Quality Control Manager

Lonnie has been in the masonry trade since 1975 and quickly worked his way up the ladder. Lonnie takes great pride in his work and has been said to be one of the most skilled masons in the Salt Lake Valley. Lonnie stresses the importance of quality and doing things right the first time. He enjoys teaching others the trade and has effectively trained several apprentice masons, passing on the expertise he has gained in his years in the industry. Lonnie takes a special interest in safety and quality control for Wasatch Masonry and oversees the safety program. He is 30 hour OSHA certified; he understands the role safety plays in building confidence and teamwork among crews. Lonnie conducts weekly tool box meetings and does weekly job site walks, providing copies of the report to the jobsite superintendent and project manager. His oversight impacts the quality of each project.

ASHLEIGH HATCH

Accountant/Office Manager

Ashleigh has extensive training and experience as an accountant and office manager. She has a Bachelors in Accounting, MAcc, and 11 years accounting experience. She has worked with Wasatch Masonry for 3 ½ years, keeping things organized and running smoothly and correctly. Ashleigh takes a proactive approach to ensuring that records are complete and accurate. She handles everything from customer invoicing and pay applications, to vendor billing, payments, payroll, and job costing records. She is adept at problem solving, and fills in any gaps that are missed by our other team members. She is available and happy to help with any problems or questions. Her contributions are a major factor in the success of our work.
